1. Repair Service
Tekkies Computer & Gaming Console Repair (“Tekkies”) will repair your product as described and for the estimated charges provided to you, unless such estimated charges are subsequently revised with your written or verbal consent.
2. Payment
You agree to promptly pay Tekkies the estimated charges plus any additional charges subsequently agreed upon by you. Payment is due when the product is repaired. For mail-in service, additional charges for return shipping and optional insurance are listed above.
3. Unanticipated Labor or Parts
If the requested repairs require labor and/or parts not originally specified, Tekkies may contact you to revise the estimate. If you do not agree to the revised charges, Tekkies may return your product unrepaired.
4. Parts
Tekkies may use new or reconditioned parts for repairs. Any replaced parts become the property of Tekkies, and any replacement parts installed become your property.
5. Warranty
Tekkies warrants that (a) repairs will be performed in a competent and workmanlike manner, and (b) all parts used will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of repair. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage or defects caused by accidental, abusive, neglectful, or improper use
- Defects caused by normal wear and tear during the 30-day warranty period
- Cosmetic damage to repaired parts (scratches, dents, broken plastic or glass)
- Products with serial numbers or identifying marks that have been altered, defaced, or removed
6. Limitation of Liability
Tekkies is not responsible for any failures or delays in performing under this agreement that are due to events outside of its reasonable control, including but not limited to shipping delays, parts availability, or acts of nature.
7. Data Backup
Tekkies is not liable for loss or corruption of data, confidential information, proprietary data, or personal files. Before submitting your device for repair, you must back up all data and remove any confidential or personal information, removable media (memory cards, flash drives, discs), and SIM cards.
8. Abandoned Products
If you have not claimed your product and paid all charges due within thirty (30) days after being notified that your product is ready for return, Tekkies reserves the right to consider the product abandoned and may dispose of it at its discretion.
9. Complete Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement governing Tekkies’ repair of your product. No other oral or written terms or conditions apply.
10. Personal Information
You acknowledge and agree that Tekkies may collect, process, and use your personal data as necessary to perform the repair service and fulfill its obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
